FAQ

1. How long does it take to design a website?
Answer: It depends on the scope of your project. Brochure-type sites can frequently be completed in less than 48 hours.  E-Commerce sites will take longer.

2. What is an intranet?
Answer: In a nutshell, an intranet is a private website, accessible only to you and your employees.

3. Why would I need an intranet?

Answer: An intranet is the ideal place for storing all the information that your employees use on a regular basis.   If you see sticky notes all over the cubicle walls in your office, that information can be compiled and published on your intranet, eliminating the need to update the information individually.  The contents of an intranet are dictated by your needs.

4. How do I keep it updated?
Answer: You have two options.  We are available to update your intranet on an as-needed basis, or we can train one of your employees to handle the maintenance for you.

5. Will they have to learn complicated software?
Answer: If your employees are comfortable using Microsoft applications such as Word, Publisher, and Excel, we can design your intranet using your own software to eliminate the need to learn new software.  Many programs today are capable of creating HTML documents.
